Workshop on REDD+ Awareness raising will be held in Kratie Province on 6-7 August 2018. It aims to engage sub-national government staff from three provinces namely Kratie, Stueng Treng, Ratanak Kiri and Mondul Kiri. The 7th Meeting of Cambodia’s REDD+ Safeguards Technical Team, 8:00-12:00 hrs, Sunway Hotel. This is to update the members of the Cambodia’s REDD+ Safeguards Technical Team about the recent progress made in the development of Cambodia’s approach for the implementation of the Cancun safeguards for REDD+ with the aim to create a Safeguards Information System and a Summary of Information on Safeguards.

The meeting aims to discuss about Consultation Group work plan to enhance REDD+ awareness raising raising to commune networks across the countries, relevant NGOs and academic institutions. Gender Group will join the meeting as observers. The meeting will be on 28 August 2018 from 8:30 - 5:00pm.
